Privacy notice
Your request should contain only what is needed to arrange support.
This notice explains how Techease handles personal information submitted through this website. It was last updated on 17 October 2026.
Minimal collection
The initial request asks for contact, suburb, service and scheduling information—not a full street address.
No credentials
Passwords, recovery codes, payment details and other credentials must not be submitted.
Restricted use
Request information is used to assess, arrange, deliver and document the requested support.
Limited retention
Appointment records are retained for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required for a legal or accounting purpose.
Information collected
An appointment request may include your name, email address, mobile number, suburb and postcode, service category, device type, preferred support format, problem description, preferred time windows and preferred contact method. The system also records the request reference, status, accepted policy versions and timestamps needed to operate the request safely.
How it is used
Information is used to decide whether Techease can assist, confirm or adjust an appointment, communicate about the request, deliver the service and keep an appropriate business record. The MVP does not use request details for a mailing list or unrelated marketing.
Service providers
The website is designed to use Cloudflare for hosting, database storage and abuse prevention, and Resend for transactional email. Those providers process limited information needed to deliver their services. Techease does not sell appointment-request data.
Website analytics
Techease may enable Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use and website performance. Analytics is kept separate from appointment-request records and is not used to build customer marketing profiles. The analytics integration is disabled until its production setting is deliberately configured.
Security and sensitive information
Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet system is risk-free. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, recovery codes, banking details, card details or identity documents. Techease does not intentionally store the form's spam check token or a customer IP address with the request record.
Device data and backups
Device data is separate from an appointment request. A backup is made only when it is required for approved work and the customer has given written consent. Techease may hold that backup while the work is completed, then return or securely delete it as agreed. Customers receive a separate written repair notice before a data-capable device is accepted for repair.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask about information associated with your request, ask for a correction or request deletion where it can lawfully be deleted. Email Techease.biz@proton.me and state that the request concerns privacy. Include the public request reference if you have one, but do not add extra sensitive information. Appointment-request records are retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is required by law, for accounting, or to resolve a dispute.
Changes to this notice
This notice may change when the service, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain published on this page.
